About us

Avenue des Arts is a French Contemporary Art Gallery based in Hong Kong. Located on the 12th floor of the Hollywood Centre, in the heart of Sheung Wan, the gallery showcases solo exhibitions of emerging and established artists from all over the world. The Gallery is dedicated to introducing artists that have not yet been exhibited to the Hong Kong audience or even to the asian audience.


The art pieces created by Avenue des Arts’ artists are available at the gallery or upon order. Depending on the items, they are either unique creations or produced in limited series. Avenue des Arts elaborates its selection in order to let individuals, companies and venues access to a privileged collection of art pieces. Avenue des Arts creates contemporary art exhibitions and cultural events. The purpose is to involve its artists in order to express their art to different audiences.





The visual artist, Aurèle, born in 1963 is now one of the foremost post-industrial plastician artists in the world. Near the end of the 80’s Aurèle burst onto the art scene and since then has exhibited in every capital city’s contemporary art museums in locations such as Paris, Tokyo, New York and Shanghai.

Marcos Marin




Marcos Marin is a Brazilian painter-sculptor, expert in optical art. His portraits, whether they are paintings or sculptures, are easy to recognize at first glance. He plays with optical effects and perspectives in order get the audience involved with his art pieces.

Nathalie Decoster is a french sculptor who has been living and working in Paris since 1985. She creates her sculptures, peopled with bronze figures, which tell universal philosophical or humorous tales.

Gregory Berben is a French painter plastic-artist and sculptor. Born in Cannes, he has been a tennis professional for a dozen of years, leading in parallel his sportive and artistic carreers.

Marc Allante



Hong Kong born artist Marc Allante has an international following and one is one of the most sought after young emerging artists today. His artwork has been sold worldwide and having lived in Hong Kong, London and Sydney and being of Chinese and French heritage, his art is crafted from both these western and eastern influences.

Rubem Robierb


rubem_robierb-300x300As an Artist, Robierb focuses on the contemporary American society, making emphasis in the sociocultural issues that define our current times. He also focuses in the human figure, and the different aspects that reveal the human body language. His approach to photography is rather edgy, political, ironic and critical, and for that very reason, quite motivating.

Hopare is the pseudonym of artist Alexandre Monteiro, who was born in France and now lives in Paris. In just a few short years this inspiring artist has managed to take the European art scene by storm with his captivating images that leave an unforgettable impression on everyone who sees them.

Alexandre Hildebrand, aka NASTY, was born in 1974 in Paris. He discovered graffiti in the 1980s, during the cultural influx of American street art and hip hop into France.

He drew stylistic inspiration from classic NYC graffiti. By the end of the 1980s, Nasty had distinguished himself as a prolific subway painter in Paris with his use of bright colors in wildstyle and old school block letters. His underground activity has made him a reference for current generations.

- 1881 Heritage a Hong Kong cultural and shopping landmark located in Tsim Sha Tsui: sculptures of two giant dogs by Aurèle, one of the foremost post-industrial plastician artists in the world.

- Avenue des Arts gallery: selection of sculptures and paintings of the artist.
