Hong Kong born artist Marc Allante has an international following and one is one of the most sought after young emerging artists today. His artwork has been sold worldwide and having lived in Hong Kong, London and Sydney and being of Chinese and French heritage, his art is crafted from both these western and eastern influences.Merging traditional Chinese inks with European watercolour and pen techniques in a contemporary style reflects the fusion of his Chinese-French ancestry and brings it into a modern context. Self taught, Marc had carved a niche online presence selling his work internationally through both commissions and through his personal gallery. He had been shortlisted in the Asia Contemporary Art Show as the Hong Kong Young Artist of the Year (2012), and his art has been featured by the Huffington Post, Daily Mail, in various art, design blogs and news publications internationally.He has exhibited in Brickhouse (2013) and Platform (2014) in Hong Kong and completed a number of murals for the acclaimed Maximal Group which operates several critically lauded restaurants including Blue Butcher and Mott 32. Other international clients of his work have included L’Oreal and ENI.
Marc’s artwork continues to remain in high demand as he explores new subject matter and themes to expand the repertoire of his ink and art collection.
