Originally from New Zealand, a career in finance took Paul to London and Hong Kong, where he has been based since 1994. While he was always interested in the arts and design, it was only recently that he took up photography. This has developed into a deep passion. Paul has traveled extensively throughout Asia, but it has been China, with its sheer scale and speed of change that has captured his imagination. In 2008, he started an ambitious project of documenting China’s unprecedented development, its diversity, and the contrasts that exist with the country.
